Why can’t you feed a dog chocolate?

    Chocolate contains theobromine, which is poisonous to dogs. If a dog consumes chocolate, it can suffer from epileptic seizures, and in some cases die.

    Chocolate contains Theobromine, which is part of a class of drugs called Methlyxanines. Theobromine is toxic to drugs. Different kinds of chocolate contain different levels of Theobromine. Cocoa powder and unsweetened baker’s chocolate has the highest content of Theobromine.
