Why can cases of pop be stacked 40 or 50 cases high without collapsing?

This has to do with science and structures.

Cases of pop would be considered a mix of Manufactured Shell Structures, and a stack of a bunch of other structures such as this might be considered a Frame Structure of some sort.  The strength of several cases, when stacked properly, means that the lower cases are supporting weight evenly of the cases above.  It also could mean that the lower stacks take some of the load bearing of the upper stacks evenly, as opposed to all of the weight being handled by the foundation stacks.
