Milk cartons should be recycleable in your local recycling center or by your local recycling facility. So long as its marked with ‘C’, then it is recycleable, even though the box cartons have plastic laminate on the inside. Plastic milk jugs should have the mark ‘C’ on them to be recycleable as well.
Milk cartons are difficult to recycle because they have a wax coating. Some recycling facilities will accept milk and juice cartons, but these are currently not too common. These paper cartons can be composted, however, if your recycling center has a composting/food waste bin.
