Why are we having colder winters in the face of global warming?

    “climate change,” not “global warming.” The effects are wide-ranging, and extremely variable. One size does not fit all. Likewise, some areas will see (and are seeing) much wetter conditions, while others see much drier conditions. Increased variability and increases in the extremes are the hallmarks of this climate change.
