Why are senators trying to stop EPA’s greenhouse gas regulations?

The senator at the head of the delays is John Rockefeller from West Virginia, a coal producing state. The EPA wants to start enforcing measures to reduce greenhouse grass emissions, but they will inevitably hurt the oil and coal business, so its biggest supporters are trying to slow the EPA. The senators say that they are trying to protect jobs, but there must be changes made in order to curb the emissions.
