Why are prefab structures better for the environment?

Not necessarily, but many people who build prefab homes are interested in using eco-friendly designs. For example, many designs incorporate solar panels on the roof, or insulating material in the walls. Prefab homes are generally prepared in pieces all at once, making the cost and labor significantly reduced. Traditional homes require many builders and designers who bring materials from all over the place, making it a labor and resource-heavy process in contrast to prefabricated structures.
