Why are owls great uses to humans? For example, no rodent over-population?

    Owls, like all predators help with population control. This is something interesting. Scientist at the University of Oregon study Barn Owls to help understand brain damage. Check out the link.

    They help by fertelizing the ground enabling vegetation to grow by their pellets, they controll populations of all sorts of animals for instince they eat around 1,600 mice a year.
