Using cotton as an example (because it is a common fabric), conventional methods of raising this crop include a large amount of insecticides, bleaching agents, formaldehydes, and phenols. All of these toxic chemicals have been linked to cancer, birth defects, and allergic reactions. Organic cotton that’s certified is naturally raised and free from all chemicals, so I would say that it is definitely better.
