I think you mean Digital Light Processing or DLP? If so, then the very plan and simple answer is that DLP tvs are built using mirrors of aluminum and LED technology, whereas LCD or Plasma TVs use technologies that employ crystals, pixels, and fluorescent lights. Basically the “nuts and bolts” of DLP tvs are more reliable and give a better resolution because they use less sensitive and smarter to boot.
