Who is your favorite eco-writer for a major US newspaper?

The Green Inc. blog by The New York Times has a great collection of eco-writers, and the Society of Environmental Journalists has a list of award winners worth checking out.  Kenneth Weiss is currently my favorite, though I admittedly haven’t read a lot of environmental journalists to make an educated comparison.  His article about oysters in the L.A. Times is quite gripping.

It is definitely Thomas Friedman of the New York Times.  He is a columnist, and Pulizter Prize winning author of “Hot, Flat, and Crowded” a book about globization and economics and the environment. He is alos a Nobel Laureate. I urge you to check out his website.
