The question of who is better between Teddy Roosevelt and Bill Clinton is a difficult one, as without Roosevelt’s policies on the enviroment and cultural obligations thereof, Bill Clinton might not have had the opportunities he did. That being said, it took a lot of guts to stand up to companies on the tail end of the industrial revolution and say “We also need to find a way to preserve the world we live in.” I do not want to detract from President Clinton’s efforts, but it took far more guts to do what Roosevelt did, and create a legacy Clinton would then follow.
