Who was the first company to make an eco friendly diaper?

Cloth diapers have been around for centuries, so that’s a tough question to answer.

If you mean modern day diapers, again, that’s a tough one, because cloth never really went anywhere when disposables were invented.  People still used clloth.

Gerber has always made cloth diapers, and diaper services have always had different types of cloth diapers, such as unbleached prefolds.

Riding the wave of the “new” cloth diapers, it’s hard to say who invented them, because there are so many styles that have been available for a long time.  Among popular brands (though not necessarily the first to hit the scene) are Bum Genius, Fuzzibunz, BabyKanga, Thirsties, Blueberry, and everyone’s must-have, Goodmama.

There are new brands and styles hitting the market every single year.

The most environmentally friendly diaper today is by a company called gDiapers.  They provide parents with two options, both great for the environment.  You can either opt for the 100% biodegradable disposable diaper or the reusable cloth diaper.  gDiapers are plastic-free, elemental chlorine free, latex free, and perfume free and I have to say they are totally adorable!  Check out the link.
