The answer to this question depends on your definition of successful, but there are certainly a variety of opportunities for entrepreneurs to make the most of their earth and money through green investments and organizations. Three of these–Pete Acorti, Brian Schneiderman, and Grant Marquit–are quite notable in Cleveland. Their organization–Entrepreneurs for Sustainability (or E4S) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on sustainable business practices. Another opportunity for world entrepreneurs to make a difference while earning some dough is the contest for those who have ideas about how to best end climate change. Winning ideas could earn the entrepreneur around $80,000. So while successful entrepreneurs could be wealthy, notable for doing something beneficial for the environment, or both, but regardless, there are a variety of opportunities for those who want to break into the arena of green living.
