Construction Managers and site project managers must be in contact with the epa at all times during construction. the epa’s NPDES, National Pullutant Discharge Elimination System is an act passed by the epa making sure construction sight clean-up is efficient. Sites should have clean stations for dumptrucks and concrete trucks. Also supplies should be kept away from water and excess soil stockpiles should be covered and surrounded by sand bags to prevent stormwater run off. All wastes at the site should be kept on high ground away from water run-off and should also be removed from the job site each day. All must be in accordinance with the epa.
