This is more of a subjective question, so please keep that in mind when reading this!
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change had done a lot of research on the polar ice caps melting. There is a wide range and far as when it’s believed they will be gone (during summers), and the IPCC predicts around 2050 at this time. Many scientists believe it could happen much earlier than that, but the IPCC is very thorough in their research and I belive the most credible.
