Ray Anderson, of Interface FLOR, was selected as TIME Magazine’s Greenest CEO. He turned his pollution-intensive company green and sustainable and increased sales by $200 million without using any additional Earth’s resources.
As pauleen says, Anderson did a complete about-face with his company, but he has also gone on to crusade for others to do the same, writing a book called Business Lessons from a Radical Industrialist. He genuinely supports the green movement because he realized that he was a “plunderer” of the Earth’s resources and saw it as theft from the future generations.
