Who is going to be the first to have 1 million electric cars on their roads?

This one may be hard to predict. For one, Iceland is planning to fully convert to electric cars; but it only has 320,000 people with about 200,000 cars so it’s kinda disqualified. Israel is building a network to support electric cars as well, to be finished by 2011, with a similar goal in mind and has 7.5 million and about 2 million cars. The company that is rolling out the Israel network, Better Place, has similar agreements with Denmark and Australia. So those are the best bets right now.
