There are several different NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) that fund service to camps. The Red Cross and Crescent support camps. The UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) connects needs with help http://www.unhcr.org/cgi-bin/texis/vtx/home

UNICEF is a UN sponsored child protection org. The Christian Childrens fund too.

The USCRI http://www.unhcr.org/cgi-bin/texis/vtx/home is trying to end the use of camps as warehouses for displaced people. A refugee is technically someone that is migrated out of their country of origin, if you are rendered homeless by war and in a camp in your own country of origin you are not a refugee. The USCRI is attempting to create policy for humane treatment of people that are forced to migrate out of their own country.

The Shelter Center http://www.sheltercentre.org/ is “NGO supporting the humanitarian community in post-conflict and disaster shelter and housing” Please visit their website for up-to-date listings of current evacuations taking place worldwide.
