    The Greenhouse Effect was first discovered in 1824 by Joseph Fourier. It was experimented on reliably until 1858 by John Tyndall, and even then, the first quantitative report on the greenhouse effect wasn’t released until 1896 by Svante Arrhenius.

    Jean Baptiste Joseph Fourier was a French mathematician and physicist who first discovered in 1824 that gases in the atmosphere might increase the surface temperature of the Earth. This was the effect that would later be called the greenhouse effect.
