This depends on which “eco label” is on the product. Sometimes the eco label is regulated, or sometimes, the label is simply an unchecked claim by the company producing the product. For example, the word “natural” on a product is not regulated unless it is used on beef or poultry. In fact, even a product with the label “natural” may contain artificial additives or ingredients.
