Who decides what the 7 wonders of the natural world are? What are they considering?

The New 7 Wonders Foundation created a poll in 2007 which took votes worldwide to establish a modern day 7 Wonders of the World list. Over 100 million people votes, leaving Zogby International to call it the “largest poll on record”. The Gaza Pyramids were the only ancient wonders to remain on the list. 13 finalists that didn’t make the list included the Statue of Liberty, Stonehenge, the Sydney Opera House, and the Eiffel Tower. The list was made by a poll that didn’t really police multiple voting so it’s not a very scientific list at all.
