The striped toad, also known as Hallowell’s toad, the flat-backed toad, and other names, is an African toad species. They live in many diverse bioregions, including various types of savanna, forests, marshes, and others. Their main threat, or “enemy,” would be habitat loss–as human development increases, availability of livable habitats for this species declines. Any larger animal that may eat toads would prey on the striped toad. This includes snakes, birds of prey, and other predators.
