Who are some prominent people who are trying to fight climate change?

    With his documentary, “The Inconvenient Truth,” former Vice President Al Gore received a lot of praise as a proponent for fighting climate change. And many of Hollywood’s A-Lists have followed suit. Such as Leonardo DiCaprio, who has served as a goodwill ambassador for various projectsto raise awareness of endangered species that is affected by climate change. Brad Pitt is also a as his fascination with sustainable architecture has led him to start a non-profit organization to research green building techniques. Ed Begley Jr., a TV actor from “St. Elsewhere” is also famous for fighting climate change as his green and sustainable lifestyle is documented in a popular TV reality show called, “Living With Ed.”

    A major crusader againstt climate change in America is former vice president Al Gore. He made a documentary film a few years ago called “An Inconvenient Truth.” Its a bit dry, but worth at least one viewing. This issue is fairly prominent in British politics as well. Current prime minister David Cameron makes a big show of riding is bike to work every day.

    Lisa Jackson, head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is someone of prominence who is trying to fight climate change. Jackson hopes to use the EPA’s authority under America’s Clean Air Act to phase in new restrictions on carbon dioxide.
