There are 1,000s of very good photographers who emphasize landscapes. You can easily find 100s by browsing National Geographic.
If you want exceptional photographers, that’s harder to answer, because even the best photographers turn out pictures that are not especially wonderful, and even relatively weak photographers can turn out some stunners, just because they happen to be in the right place. (Think: Astronauts on the moon.)
Ansel Adams had very high standards, wrote many books, and is widely known. There is a “List of the Most Expensive Photographs” that bears considering. It includes Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Weston.

Sorry folks, that was my first post, and I couldn’t fix it, once submitted. It reads:

Ansel Adams was an incredible and quite famous landscape photographer. He was an environmentalist and photographer who famously often photographed Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Mountains around the same area.  In the early 20’s, many of Adams photos were published by the Sierra Club, a vital step to his success. His first truly famous and possibly best know photo is titled “Monolith, the Face of Half Dome”.
