Which type of soil has the most nutrients?

The best kind of soil to provide nutrients contains equal parts of sand, silt, clay, and organic matter. Texture is a factor in the absorption of nutrients; one soil may have many nutrients, but if it is very sandy, it may not retain its nutrients. Sometimes organic nutrients must be added for the ideal composite soil.
