The number one state with the best year round weather is California. California (both south and north) has pleasant temeperatures year round. Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Maria all have average daily highs no lower than the mid-60s for any month of the year. Temperatures range from below 85 degrees. There is a little bit of rain, typically fewer than 20 inches a year. Skies are mostly clear, with Los Angeles reporting sunshine for 73 percent of the time.
This is a question that is not easy to answer since it depends on personal preference. While California is very consistently warm year-round, it may not be the “best weather” of all 50 states. I live in Colorado, which truly gets all four season, something California and other consistently warmer states lack. It also depends how humid someone likes it. Most likely it is not suitable to live in the deserts of Arizona due to extreme dryness, nor the extreme humidity of south-eastern states. Most people would want to live somewhere in the middle of all of these factors, but it really just depends of preferences.
Like codyurb says, it really depends on personal preference. Hawaii seems like the ideal location to me! For similar reasons that jchang14 states, Hawaii has a monthly average temperature on Oahu and Maui in the 80s all year long. On both those islands it rains less than 20 inches annually and they both get around 70% sun. Personally I would prefer it to California culturally, as well as in how close in distance is since everything you’d need is located on the island you live on. Plus it’s beautiful!
