Basically, if you had to pick ONE species (and it’s associated conservation history) to point to as a “poster child” for why conservation works, which would you pick? Why?
I think the panda has been the most inspiring for conservation. Not only it is the symbol for the World Wildlife Federation, but its majestic and kind appearance makes it a very appealing poster-child for conservation. People of all ages can identify with this extremely cute animal and this is what makes the panda such a good image for conservation.
