Well as up to 80% of fresh water can come from mountains due to the snow and ice – global warming is causing the mountains to dry up leaving less water available for those that depend on it. In essence – its not an issue of which mountains but how much they are being affected at this point. Mountains also help provide shelter for animals and plants and with the warming of our biosphere, these habitats are changing and in turn effecting the species that dwell here.
