    According to Greenbiz.com the five least green cities in the United States are Atlanta, Dallas, Indianapolis, Houston and St. Louis in order. Each of these cities had redeeming qualities about sustainability, but they scored the lowest on their test. The website is cited below if you would like to see how they were ranked.

    Atlanta, Georgia is considered “the most wasteful city” in the United States, followed by Dallas, Indianapolis, and Houston. These cities partake in environmentally detrimental activities than any other in the US: recycle less, throw away more trash, use less energy-efficient lightbulbs, and buy the most bottled water.
