Bangladesh has been the most affected country by extreme weather conditions between 1990 and 2008. I’m not sure if you would consider this to be a “large” country, but in the last 18 years, extreme weather conditions have killed 600,000 people and cost a loss of $1.7 trillion.
The largest country on the list would be India. They are ranked 7th in the countries most affected by climate change. India has an annual death toll, due to extreme climate, of 3,255 people. There total financial losses, due to climate change, is $6,132 million.
