There aren’t any nuts that are used topically in lotions to treat dry skins as far as I know. However, a diet containing nuts is very good for your skin. Most importantly, they contain lots of essential fatty acids which are crucial to developing healthy skin.
Nuts are very powerful when it comes to healthy skin maintenance and production. Though the fatty acids are, of course, crucial to healthy cell development, the most pertinent qualities to skin are the vitamins A and E. These are key ingredients you will find in any skin lotion or oil. Tree nuts are particulary helpful in this manner (peanuts are legumes, not nuts). You might also consider including flaxseed and olive oil into your diet. You will, however, need to watch your fat intake, because these are all high-fat foods.
