Which European countries have done the best job reducing their carbon emissions?

    Latvia. According to energy.eu, Latvia is marginally ahead of Estonia in their Kyoto target. Latvia achieved 48.07% of their pledge for reducing emissions, the list goes on with Estonia 45%, Lithuania 43.99%, Romania 41.40%, Bulgaria 40.53% and Hungary 33.94%.

    The worst on this list is Luxembourg, which increased their emissions by 41.76%, Spain 33.36% and Austria 28.09%. 

    Overall 15 countries managed to reduce their emissions, and 12 didn’t.
