The Nissan Leaf is being produced in the United States and is an all-electric powered car. It can go up to 100 miles between each charge and runs on a lithium-ion battery. Currently, the Nissan website reports that 20,000 people have reserved a Leaf for when they become available (rumor has it that Lance Armstrong is among them).
