Which country is using the most tidal energy in the world?

Currently, the U.K. is leading the efforts to develop tidal energy systems.  The United States is also heavily involved in development, which could meet 6.5 percent of U.S. energy needs if fully implemented.  However, other countries are taking the lead in terms of actually implementing tidal power systems.  Notable among these projects are the Canadian Bay of Fundy Plant, the Jianagxia plant in China, and the Lumkara plant in Russia.  Other countries that are involved in developing tidal plants are Australia, South Korea, and India.
