I couldn’t find any statistics that ranked countries by e-waste by tonnage, however I found some reliable stats on the U.S. (who, I’m sure, is one of the top producers of e-waste).
The U.S. produced 3 million tons of e-waste in 2008. Worldwide, e-waste has fallen somewhere between 20-50 million metric tonnes annually. The United States’ share of that is approximately 2,721,554 metric tonnes, which is anywhere from 13.6 to 4.5% of the worlds annual e-waste output.
