Which country is doing the best job of helping conserve elephant populations?

There are many countries that are aware and trying to help the slowly shrinking elephant population, especially in Africa. Interestingly enough, the United States is one of the biggest supporters in saving the African elephants. The elephants are hunted for their ivory, which also happens to have a large market in the United States. Elephant populations have been on a slow decline ever since the 1970’s, and more action is needed to save a beautiful species from going extinct.
