The Bay of Fundy in Canada has some of the world’s highest tides. High tides are crucial for harnessing completely natural tidal power. Only a few places with tides over 15 feet can affectively use tidal energy. The Bay of Fundy is 170 miles long between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Its waves are typically 50 feet high.
