I’m not quite sure about size, but India is the largest cattle producer in the world with an average of 44,196 thousand produced per year. However, this cattle is primarily for dairy and not generally slaughtered for meat. In terms of slaughter, the United States is the largest though it only ranks 3rd in the world for most cattle produced.
