The Bengal Tiger is found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.  Tigers are the biggest species in the cat family. Over the last 100 years, the number of wild tigers has dropped from the hundreds of thousands to about 2,000 individuals.  This is due to habitat loss, hunting for Chinese medicine, and trophy hunting.
