The world’s largest tiger sanctuary has been created in the Hukaung Valley in northern Myanmar. It covers an area of around 8,450 square miles.
The worlds largest tiger sanctuary was created in 2004 with the designation of 2,500 square miles by the Myanmar government. This land protects some of the last tigers in the world. What used to be hundreds of thousands now has become a mere few thousand.
