Year by year in the United States, the Cascade Mountain range acquires the most snow. This is an isolated area within Washington State, that includes Mount Baker and Mount Rainier. Keeping track of snowfall for an entire state is not an easy thing to do, so stats on this are hard to find. Precipitation in general (snow and rain) can be measured and the state with precipitation is Hawaii, although it certainly does not have the most snow. Although there does not appear to be any easily accessible information Washington, Maine, Colorado, Alaska, and the Great Lake States are all possibly the snowiest, but its hard to say.
