Where is the most fog in the U.S.? Has anyone proposed capturing it as a water source?

The foggiest place in the United States is Point Reyes, California. During the 200 days of fog which the town experiences each year, mountains of gray mist sweep from the sea, swallowing dunes and coastal buildings, and reducing visibility to less than one hundred feet.

As far as I know, no one has proposed introducing fog-harvesting (the process of converting fog to freshwater) to Point Reyes.
