The worlds largest cattle ranch is in Alexandria Station, Australia. The ranch originally covered 7.2 million acres and has about 60,000 cattle. One of the oldest and largest cattle ranch in the US is the Parker Ranch on the big island of Hawaii. John Palmer Parker went to Hawaii in 1809 and was hired by King Kamehameha to round up all of the cattle. Parker ended up marrying the kings daughter Kipicane and received a land grant of 640 acres. The ranch is now over 225,000 acres.
