Where is the fastest high-speed rail in the world?

The French TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse, or high speed train) is the train which can currently run the fastest ( 357.2 mph at the fastest), but it does not usually run this quickly.

China’s Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail usually runs at 217 mph, while the TGV usually runs somewhere around 186-199 mph.
