Where is the earths crust the thinnest?

    The earth’s crust is made up of two parts: oceanic and continental. It is thinner at the oceanic level, where is it made up of gabro, basalt and diabase. The oceanic crust is 5 km thick compared to the 30 km thickness of the continental part.
