Where on Earth can the most stars be seen by the naked eye?

There are a number of spots where you can see more stars than the majority of places. Commonly, in the city a person can see only around 500 stars but in some locations over 15,000 stars can be seen. This is in places like Utah’s Natural Bridges National Monument and Mont-Megantic Park in Quebec, Canada. There is also the eucalyptus woodlands in New Zealand, which is equally famous for stargazing.

You can see the most stars in complete darkness.  Wherever you can reach a relatively isolated space at night, you will likely see many stars.  While it might be hard to travel far to see them, try just heading up to a local camping spot for the night and you’ll definitely notice a difference.
