Where is the dusky tree vole native to?

The dusky tree vole is found in redwood forests on the northwest coast of Oregon, where the logging industry has taken a significant toll on its habitat. Though it is controversial just how distinct a group it is, the dusky tree vole is considered a subspecies of the red tree vole. The red tree vole lives exclusively in the redwood forests of the United States (mostly in Oregon), often spending its entire life in a single one of the enormous trees and building elaborate nests. They make up a significant part of the diet of northern spotted owls.
