Australia does not import any crude oil from the United States. The US only exports tiny amounts of crude oil, all of it to Canada. And the refined products Australia imports from the US are pretty trivial 16,000 barrels per day.
Also, the figures in the other answer say 600,000 barrels per year. That is incorrect; and should be 600,000 barrels PER DAY for production, and net imports of about 300,000 barrels per day, not 615,000 barrels per year.
