According to rosyboa.com, the boa can be found in the “desert and chapparal zones of the Southwestern United States, Baja California, and Sonoran Desert of Mexico.” Their natural habitats are restricted to three geographical clusters although some have been reported in Southern Nevada.
Rosy boas are known to live in Argus Range and Darwin Hills near Death Valley. They also live in the Mojave Desert and in the coastal region of Southern California through the peninsula of Baja California, as well as in Sonora, Mexico, and Western Arizona. They also survive in the Gulf Islands of Tiburon, Mejia, Angel de la Guarda, San Marcos, and Cerralvo.
