    Flamingoes live primarily in tropical and subtropical areas. The Chilean flamingo lives on the coasts of southern South America. The Caribbean flamingo dominates in the Caribbean islands. The lesser flamingo is primarily African, though some are also found in southern Spain and parts of India. The greater flamingo is found in India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Mediterranean.
